There is a meeting Monday April 8th at 6:30pm in the high school bandroom for all new members (wind, percussion, and color guard) along with their parents. Even if you are unsure about doing high school band, this meeting is an important opportunity to get more information and to ask questions of the staff.
Nominations are being accepted starting March 18th at the meeting and will be accepted until the April 15th meeting, when elections will be held. Contact the current booster president, Stacy Shoemaker, if you would like more information about the process or positions.
What follows is a descriptions of the officer positions within the organization:
Concert Band and Wind Ensemble now have online theory assignments...yes these are for a grade!! Follow these steps:
-Go to www.emusictheory.com
-Click on student sign-in
-hit the link that says "your teacher didn't give you a password?" because I didn't :)
-enter your username: it's your first initial then your entire last name (all lower case) (except Audrey...yours is aulivingston thanks to your sister being entered first)
-then create your own password
-the teacher code is 1787
you can then optionally enter your email address.
After that, click on the Assignments tab at the top and follow the directions.
First assignment is due Mon 1/14!!!
if you have trouble getting internet access, you can always do it here at school. The bandroom is open every day until at least 4:30, and the library is always an option.

The parent volunteer form is now up and live!! Parent volunteer sign-up
The form to sign students up for Friday dinners will be live tomorrow...remember, signing up and paying in advance gets you a $1 each meal ($3 per meal instead of $4).
There are online forms for parents to volunteer to help out with camp weeks and for students/parents to register for the drum corps show available on the website now. Just click the At a Glance tab above.
